When installing the software, the
following message is shown on the PC
screen:
"Setup
cannot continue because some system files
are out of date on your system. Click OK
if you would like setup to update these
files for you now. You will need to
restart Windows before you can run setup
again. Click Cancel to exit setup without
updating system files."
However,
when you click OK to update the system,
and then attempt to re-install the
software, the same error message is shown
again - indicating the system has not been
updated.
We have a new
version of our install program which
solves many installation issues.
Please return to our store and download
the latest version of our software.
Also, this problem happens
on Windows XP systems that have not been
upgraded with Service Pack 2 from
Microsoft. You can use Windows
Update to install the upgrade easily, but
it is a big download. This upgrade
is referred to as "critical" by Microsoft,
since it includes many important security
enhancements. Microsoft can also
mail you a Windows XP SP2 update CD, if the download is too
long.
After burning a new custom CD and
inserting it into the player, the CD will
not play, and the message "No MP3" is
shown on the LCD display.
Try burning the CD at 2X. Slower
speeds tend to be more accurate.
Also stay with major name brand CD-R's,
like Fuji and Verbatim. No house
brands, or blowout deals. These are
often inferior media.
- A new version of our software is
available which fixes this problem.
The new version adds a link on the Start
Menu to view the Help file.
Click on "Start" --> "All Programs" -->
"JukeMaster 100" to find the link to the
Users Guide.
